My sister asked me to build her a bed, so I said yes. Well that was months ago and this last week I finally got off my butt and finished it. I’ve never built a bed before and I had no idea how to do it but I think it worked out alright. It’s 100% hickory and built for a queen size mattress.
I did the design in my head so it just kinda came out as I went on with it. I don’t know if I’ll build another one for a while.
If your wondering why it looks different that’s because it’s a platform bed where the edge of the box spring actually sits right along the top of the rails. It will have supports down the center of course. That’s how she wanted it so that’s how she got it :)
