This was my first frameless job. We did hickory wish an applied moulding. Next time I need to make the applied moulding smaller and increase the width of the rail/stiles on the door frames because the applied moulding was getting in the way of the door pulls. My bad.
Anyway, so doesn’t have stain, just a pre cat finish.
Starting to learn that hickory is a bit too hard to get too fancy with things. I think next time I’ll do something a bit more fancy if it’s soft like cherry or alder.
Oh, I also did the floor. It’s 2-1/4 3rd grade maple with Minwax Early American stain.
